II A ride to Gurudongmar lake II

I got a fracture in my right ankle just 20 days before the due date. Tolerated the plaster for 15 days and then without consulting the doctor removed that. Then 5 days of hot and cold therapy and we set out for a challenging journey of almost 1750 km.

Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 17,800 ft (5,430 m), in the Indian state of Sikkim. The lake is linked to the visit of Guru Padmasambhava and so it is a holy place to many.
